Riverside Event Venue’s idyllic location along the Tennessee River makes it the perfect choice for nature-loving couples. Located in Lacey’s Spring, this venue impresses at every corner, and the helpful staff will make your big day as stress-free as possible.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Lacy’s Spring area, just outside of Huntsville and a do-able drive from Birmingham, here are three reasons to say “I Do” at Riverside.
Riverside has something for everyone. I love the high end class that the Tennessee River brings to any wedding day – it’s breathtaking. And when talking to brides and grooms, they rave about how accommodating the venue is from an intimate perspective. Here are just a few of the many reasons – and there are a lot – to consider Riverside Event Venue as your own wedding venue.
Riverside Event Venue has a huge capacity. Invite up to 300 of your closest friends and family – there’s plenty of room for everyone. This is great news for those who are planning to have a long guest list. The venue has both an indoor and outdoor spaces. The gorgeous outdoor space sits right along the river. The open indoor space features floor-to-ceiling windows with unforgettable views of the river. These features are great for large crowds so that things don’t feel claustrophic.
In addition, I really love this venue because they have bride and groom suites (they’re free to use when you book the venue). Both suites are spacious and have all of the amenities you’ll need to get ready for your big day. Beautiful furnishings and an abundance of natural light allow for some truly elegant “getting ready” photos. This is great news for brides who want really good getting ready photos. Natural light is key!
Riverside can handle just about any size wedding, and the accommodating staff goes out of their way to make the day special. Plus, the venue itself is so beautiful that you don’t need to go overboard with decorations.
You have a lot to worry about during your big day: catering, photography, videographers, entertainment, guests and so much more. The last thing you should worry about is surprise fees. Riverside is transparent and includes nearly everything you could ask for. Here are some of the things that are included!
The venue promises no surprise fees. However, I did a little digging, and a few of the items that I do want to mention are that you have to pay a $500 refundable deposit for the venue. Deposit fees are pretty standard for any venue, but this is low compared to most venues.
The West-facing outdoor space is perfect for sunset photos along the riverbanks. This is probably the most popular place to take all of your most important portraits at this venue.
Both the indoors and outdoors spaces are stunning. The large patio overlooks the river and places the bridge in the background to offer postcard-worthy photos. Couples can also walk closer to the water for beautiful pictures with the mountains in the distance. On a warm, sunny day, the lawn is full of life, and couples love to have the ceremony on the edge of the river.
Indoors, light fills the interior, with 10 large windows on the main exterior wall and countless windows on each side. A massive chandelier hangs from the main room, and the dance floor brings the couple center stage. Light-colored flooring doesn’t take away from a white dress and brings vibrance and life to each photograph. All of those windows mean natural lighting – which means all of your photos will be absolutely stunning.
Riverside Event Venue is a beautiful wedding venue that offers stunning river views, and includes everything you need for a once-in-a-lifetime wedding. You’re just six miles from the nearest hotel, and if you book the venue, you can take your engagement photos there for free.
