With its breathtaking views and historical charm, Burritt on the Mountain is a favorite wedding venue in Huntsville. The garden spaces and long-range views of the valley are a photographer’s dream. For couples, the helpful staff make the entire experience one they’ll never forget. There’s something special about this venue and lots to love about the space.
Burritt on the Mountain sits on 167 acres at the top of Round Top Mountain. The mansion, home to Dr. William Henry Burritt, is the heart of the estate. Built in the 1930s, the mansion has a unique charm and is a beautiful backdrop for any wedding. Burritt’s mansion eventually became Huntsville’s first museum. That’s right – this is more than just a wedding venue. You can tour the mansion and even see how farmers lived in the 1800s.
Burritt on the Mountain has four ceremony sites, and each one has its own charm. From long-range views to a traditional church, this wedding venue has it all.
All of these ceremony sites are beautiful in their own way. At golden hour, the photos are breathtaking, especially at The View. On a clear day, it looks like you’re on top of the world. But even on cloudy and rainy days, a misty fog can create dreamy photos that are anything but ordinary.
Burritt on the Mountain makes it easy to book your wedding. They have one wedding package that gives you:
The venue says it can accommodate up to 250 guests, so you can invite everyone you love. In addition, having access to all of their event spaces means that we can take photos at each of their beautiful ceremony sites. You’ll need to provide your own catering, but you’ll have full access to the catering kitchen during your event.
There’s only one wedding package at Burritt, but it includes some nice extras, like:
Couples say the staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make your big day as stress-free as possible.
Baron Bluff is the perfect place to celebrate your big day. The ball room is huge (49’6” x 79’6”), and the floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light. There’s even a fireplace to add a cozy ambiance to the space.
Wrap-around porches allow guests to mingle outdoors and enjoy the views.
From The View to the Gazebo and church grounds, there are so many stunning places to take photos at Burritt on the Mountain. At sunset, the Gazebo is gorgeous, with mountains in the distance and warm lighting. The reception hall, with its towering windows, chandeliers and open dancefloor, provides many opportunities for candid shots and capturing special dances.
Burritt on the Mountain is truly a one-of-a-kind venue in Huntsville. The views are hard to beat, and the reception hall is gorgeous. Staff is helpful, and booking is easy. It’s no wonder couples are lining up at the door to say “I do” at this historic, special place.
