My wonderful state is called Alabama the Beautiful, and for good reason. There is so much hidden beauty to be found in Alabama. From the beaches on the Guff of Mexico, to the mountain-top views in North Alabama, there is such a great variety of things to do and see in this beautiful state.
What you may not have considered though, is that Alabama honestly has some of the most fantastic wedding venues. Maybe you want to have a destination wedding, or you already live in Alabama, but you just aren’t sure that Alabama has the kind of weddings venues that would best fit your needs. I am here today to debunk any lies about Alabama wedding venues, and to tell you about seven that happen to be my absolute favorite.
Located within one hour of the city of Birmingham, this Alabama wedding venue is the epitome of both classy and homey. Oak Meadow Event Center is a pure white barn/farmhouse venue, which makes it the perfect place to host your wedding no matter what aesthetic you are trying to achieve. Surrounded by woods and nature, this Alabama wedding venue also is the perfect place to have all of your wedding photos taken (seems kind of important, eh?!). Absolutely no need to book another venue or drive to another location for any of your wedding day photos since this venue is beautiful enough.
Are you looking for an intimate wedding venue, that also offers a style of class and elegance? This beautiful location is one of the only Alabama wedding venues that has an exclusive view of the city, while also offering that tight-knit feeling of an intimate wedding venue. What a better place to get married than with the high-class staff of City Club Birmingham, and what better place for all of your wedding day photography when you have such wonderful views? This is one of my favorite stylish wedding venues in Alabama.
This Alabama wedding venue is definitely one for the books. What a cool way to add character to your wedding day by being surrounded by art? I am not sure about you, but in my opinion this is one of the most unique Alabama wedding venues. Other than adding some florals to your ceremony and reception spots, you really don’t need to do anything too lavish decor wise because the aesthetic of this venue is to die for.
This Alabama wedding venue is where southern hospitality meets sophisticated views and scenery. Hamilton Place has become “one of the most unique destinations in the south” (from their website) for weddings due to the pristine nature and classy style. This Alabama wedding venue is the perfect place to host your wedding if you are looking for high-end service, next-level wedding day photos, and unmatched intimate privacy for your wedding.
Located under an hour from Birmingham, this Alabama wedding venue is the epitome of southern charm and elegance. Anything from quaint intimate weddings to large scale weddings, this place does it all. They also literally do it all because catering and floral design are all in-house, making things much easier for you to plan. This charming home was built originally in 1918 and later renovated to fit all of your wedding day needs. You honestly can’t beat a white, vintage home surrounded by beautiful woods and nature for your special day.
A quiet place that is an hour from Birmingham in Tuscaloosa, this Alabama wedding venue offers wonderful outdoor ceremony and reception spots that are also perfect for all of your wedding day photos. Flagstone Farm has several beautiful spots for your photos as well as where you choose to host the actual ceremony and reception. With a beautiful lake and rolling hills, you really can’t go wrong with choosing to have your wedding at this venue.
This Alabama wedding venue not only has an adorable name, but also is such a beautiful historic and urban wedding venue. This Alabama wedding venue is located in the stunning Lakeview Industrial District of Birmingham. Exposed brick, huge windows and glass, and steel beams are all some of the things that make the Theodore the elegant wedding venue that it is. Perks of the Theodore: capacity of 500 for ceremony, in house catering, and a versatile environment to make your wedding day dreams come true.
