When it comes to finding an Alabama wedding venue, there are so many amazing options that it can often feel overwhelming to consider them all. My heart behind everything that I do is to help brides plan their day in a way that fits their personality, and to capture their story in a relaxed and authentic way. That is why I am featuring Alabama Wedding Venues on my blog, so that you have an easy source to read about the details of each venue to see if it is a right fit for you. For this post, we are looking at B&A Warehouse, in Birmingham, Alabama!
I think I should introduce this amazing wedding venue by describing it with their own words, “Historic charm meets gourmet perfection” (as seen on their website here). During the industrial revolution, the bones of B&A Warehouse was originally a building for the company Jefferson Plumbing & Mill Supply Company, which closed its doors in the late 1900’s. Three entrepreneurs had a vision for what B&A Warehouse should become, and it truly has become a spectacular event venue. As a modern hosting venue, B&A Warehouse is truly unique in its aesthetic, service, and location, making it a one of a kind venue for your modern wedding.
B&A Warehouse offers many options when it comes to choosing where you want to host your wedding ceremony and reception. First up, there is the Brick Room. This one has a seated meal capacity of 350, and a reception capacity of 550. You can also have your ceremony in this space. Next, there is the Glass Room. This room has a stylist black and white checkered floor, which happens to be the original flooring from the sales room when the building was still the Jefferson Plumbing company…how cool?! This one has a seated capacity of 80 and a reception capacity of 100 (perfect for your intimate wedding needs). Last, we have the Bottle Room. This is where fine wines and drinks are stored in the original shelving that was used by Jefferson Plumbing. It has a seated capacity of 50, and a reception capacity of 75.
You can see that B&A Warehouse truly can cater to any of your wedding needs, whether you want a large, luxurious wedding, or if you just want to have a small scale intimate wedding. They can do it all!
B&A Warehouse offers a fully customizable menu for all of their brides’ and couples’ needs. From homestyle cooking to more elevated and elegant meals, B&A Warehouse has you covered! What makes their in-house catering so great is that it takes the stress off of you to figure out who you will hire for catering your wedding. With B&A Warehouse, you have one less decision to make!
Let’s not forget about their in-house bars, as well! Similar to the above, when you book your wedding at B&A Warehouse, you have one less vendor to hire when it comes to bar services, because it is already included! Click HERE to see their hors d’oeuvres menu!
B&A Warehouse is central to many amazing locations when it comes to getting portraits made on your wedding day. Maybe you will start the day getting ready at the amazing Elyton hotel, or another hotel or Airbnb downtown. Then you can make your way to railroad park, which is just across the street from B&A Warehouse, to get your portraits made. Since you are so close to the venue, you can literally walk across the street and be ceremony ready in no time! Railroad park is the most convenient place to get your portraits made for this venue, however there are several other parks to choose from.
Here is a list of specs that they have listed on their website (which you can find here):
At a glance, you can already tell that B&A Warehouse has thought of it all when it comes to serving their couples on the wedding day.

[…] This is probably one of the most moody, industrial wedding venues that I have seen…and it is perfectly lovely. Brides who love the elegant, luxurious look love this venue especially for receptions. I have seen multiple couples have their wedding at a church, and then have the reception at this industrial wedding venue, but I have also seen this venue used for both the ceremony and reception. Something that makes this venue so appealing to couples is the fact that they offer in house catering that is absolutely to die for. Check out more about this venue here! […]
